Pearls

İpek Ek is an independent researcher, has PhD in Architecture, teaches design studios and theory of architecture courses in the departments of architecture and interior architecture. Her interests refer to aesthetics in architecture, debates on aesthetics and origin of architecture in the 18th century, contemporary art and architecture, design quality in housing, appropriation of urban spaces, and education in architectural design studios. In these issues, she has writings published in national and international academic journals, proceedings and books.

She also makes digital illustrations for video games, books, personal stories, and advertisements.
