​Attained bachelor's (2003), master's (2006), and doctoral (2012) degrees from the Department of Architecture at Izmir Institute of Technology. Obtained her associate professorship in 2023. Worked in the departments of architecture, and interior architecture, at several universities in Izmir and Istanbul. Have been teaching basic design and architectural design studios, and courses on the history and theory of architecture, spatiality, atmosphere, and arts. She is interested in and published on the design of the spatial atmosphere, aesthetics in architecture and urban environment, 18th-century aesthetics, design quality in mass housing, and education in architecture and basic design studios.
